Trading has become safer for all Habbos with the introduction of the 'Trade Pass'. If you are having questions about the new Trade Pass, you can probably find all the answers you need right here!
Most likely you do not have the trading pass and therefore you are not eligible to trade according to the new trading rules.
You have to fulfill the following criteria:
1. User has verified his/her email.
2. User's account is at least 3 days old.
3. User has at least 1 hour online time since the beginning of February 2009.
Sometimes, in order to have the Trade Pass badge show up, your browser requires you to log out of Habbo, close your browser, then log back in again. Once the Trade Pass is visible on your Habbo account, you do not need to do anything else, trading is automatically turned on. As always, trading can only be done in guest rooms on a Trading floor.
Certain free emails services, such as Hotmail, may take as long as a day to receive emails from other services. Please be patient.
The trading is enabled by signing in. Sign out, close your browser, then sign back in.
It might be that you have to close your browser in order to clear your cache. Try that!
Most likely, however, the trading is disabled by your account's security settings, under your "Account Settings", check your "Trade Settings" and see if they are enabled.
When you are logged in, go to "Account Settings", in the menu to the left, you will find a tab called "Trade Settings" - this is where you can enable and disable your Trade Pass.
Yes you can, but please remember that once you disable trading on your Habbo, it will take 24 hours to enable it again, once you request enabling. Disablement takes place immediately. This is due to security reasons, should you need to disable trading in order to protect your furniture, you have 24 hours where no one can enable your trading again, giving you time to change your password.
This is a security measure. If you enable trading you have still time to disable it, or in the case of theft your furni may still be saved.
Now both traders need to approve the trade by checking the Accept check box. If either one cancels, the whole trading action will be null and void, protecting you from last minute changes from the other Habbo.
The trading action will be canceled and the new setting will be in effect from there on.
You'll see the slightly altered trading window when trying to trade, telling you that yours or the other Habbo's trading has been disabled.
Yes you can! You can also have others donate to you.
Yes, you can, but remember, it is considered a gift.
32 % of users feel that they have been scammed by another users while trading in game. We in Habbo are always against scamming of any kind. These new rules enforce a new and safer way of trading.
