How do I get a guest room?

You need to go to a Room-O-Matic to get your own room. You can find these on the Hotel Navigator, under the list of Guest rooms, in any of the Lobbies and also in Cafe Ole.



Just follow the instructions that pop up when you click on one, or when you click the 'create own room' link in the Hotel Navigator. All rooms are free at Habbo Hotel.

What rules are there in guest rooms?

The Habbo Way applies in all rooms in the Hotel, but you should treat the guest rooms like someone else's home.

What should I do if I delete my room and it had furni in it?

Once furni has been deleted there in NO way to get it back, the Office Staff cannot return furni if it has been deleted.

How do I put a password or doorbell on my room?

If you want to put a password or doorbell on your room, you need to go to Hotel Navigator and under 'Guest Rooms' select 'Own Rooms'. Click on the name of the room you want to change and then at the bottom of the navigator. click on modify. You will then see some 'check boxes' halfway down the pop-up window, select the option you require. If you are adding a password to your room then it has to be at least 3 letters long.

Why won't it let me put up more than 50 stickies?

Each guest room has a 50 stickie limit, and if you have pictures and photos on the wall then these will be counted as one stickie each. For example: You have 10 photos on the wall, you will only be allowed to place 40 stickies.


warning.gifTIP: The 50 limit only applies to stickies, if you want to put pictures and photos up as well as stickies then put them up after the stickies. If you do it this way you can have 50 stickies then as many pictures and photos as you like.

Why can't I get into my room?

If your room is full then you will not be able to enter it, each Guest room only holds 25 people.



If your room isn't full and you are still having a problem loading the room, then it could be due to a problem with the Guest room server, if this is the case then the problem should fix itself fairly quickly.



If after 24 hours you still can't get into your room you should clear out your temporary internet files. To do this you need to go to the Control Panel on your computer and select "Internet Options" then click on
"Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" in the middle section "Temporary Internet Files", and remember to tick the "Delete all offline contents".

Why has my room name been changed to unacceptable to Hotel Management?

If you make a room and call it something that breaks The Habbo Way then a Hobba or Moderator will change the name of your room, and might even ban your account from the site.


Room names should be non-offensive, not break the Habbo Way or avoid the bobba filter in any way

How do I take rights away?

You can remove rights in two different ways:



1) If you are in one of your OWN rooms you can click on any Habbo that has rights and under their name on the bottom right hand side of the screen you will see the 'remove rights' button, if you click on this it will remove their room rights.



2) To remove rights from EVERYONE in the room you need to go to Hotel Navigator and under 'Guest Rooms' select 'Own Rooms'. Click on the name of the room you want to remove everyone's rights from and then at the bottom of the navigator. click on modify. At the bottom of that page, select reset and follow the instructions from there.

How can I delete my room?

If you want to delete your room, you need to go to Hotel Navigator and on the 'Me' tab. Click on the name of the room you want to delete and enter that room. Click on icon on the left column above your Habbo face that looks like a small room and then click on 'Room Settings'. At the bottom of that page, click on 'Advanced Settings' and then on 'Delete This Room' and then 'Ok'.

What are rights?

Rights are what allow another Habbo to move furni in your room, open hatches, kick other Habbos and delete what it says on your stickies


You should ONLY give rights to Habbos you trust. Nasty Habbos might put your furni in the walls, delete the writing on your stickies and kick all your friends, so be careful who you trust!

Why can't I pick up my wallpaper or floor?

Because it's stuck down! Once you paint the walls or floor of a room, it's there for good.
If you are thinking about making a new room, don't delete the room and lose the wallpaper and floor - just rename it. Then you can re-design it too if you like.

How do I give rights to another Habbo?

Only the room owner can give out room rights. When your Habbo character is in one of your OWN rooms, you can click on other Habbos in that room and you will see a 'give rights' button appear under their name on the bottom right hand side of the Habbo window. If you click that button the Habbo will have rights in your room. They will then be able to move furni, open hatches, kick other users and delete writing on stickies.

How does the new doorbell work?

The new doorbell can only be answered by the room owner, or users with rights.



When someone rings the doorbell to a room, a pop up window appears. If more than one person rings the bell then you can scroll thought them by clicking the left and right arrows. If you click 'ok', then it will only open the door for the person whose name is displayed above the 'ok'. Cancel works in the same way, clicking 'cancel' only rejects the person whose name you can see when you click it.



To reject everyone simply close the pop-up by clicking the 'x' in the corner.

Can I reset my room rating?

No, you cannot.

How do I get a high room rating?

Make an amazing room and treat your guests well - that's the only way.

How often can I rate a room?

You can rate each room once per day.

Where is my room rating displayed?

Your room rating is visible only in your Habbo room. In the future, it will be visible on your Habbo Home, on the website and in the Navigator. You can see your own room's rating when you enter it. You can see another Habbo's room rating by going to their room and clicking the '+' or '-' sign.

What are room ratings?

You can rate guest rooms in the hotel and view ratings for other Habbos' rooms. Room ratings can be used to recommend highly rated rooms to other users.

Can I turn room ratings on and off for my room?

No. The room ratings cannot be turned on or off.

How do I rate a room?

When in a Guest Room just click the '+' or '-' sign at the bottom of your screen.

Where did my room go?

In a recent update of Habbo we deleted all EMPTY rooms. Empty means they had no furni, and had not been painted, wallpapered or floored. We did this to make space in the hotel for the thousands of new rooms being created every day.

How do I host an event?

First you need to select one of your own rooms - the one within which you would like to host the event. Then go to the room and open the Event List from the Habbo tool bar (next to the Navigator). Be sure your room is unlocked and does not have a password on it. Your room must be completely open in order to host an event.

Now simply click on the 'Host an event' button and choose the title, description and category of the event you would like to post. Once the event has been posted, your event will show up in the events category both within the hotel and on the Habbo homepage.
