What are Habbo Credits?

Habbo Credits are the hotel's currency - they are what you use to pay for extras in the hotel, like diving and furniture for your guest room. Click the "Credits"-tab on our homepage to learn more about Habbo Credits.

How much do credits cost?

Habbo credits cost between 20 and 27 cents each, depending on which method of payment you use. Please note that all prices on this web site are in Canadian Dollars. To find out the exact cost of credits, please visit your Habbo Purse after you have checked in.

Do I need Habbo Credits to Play in Habbo Hotel?

No! You only need Habbo Credits if you want to use extra features such as tickets for diving, furniture for your room etc.

What is my Habbo Purse?

Your Habbo Purse is where all your Habbo Credits are stored. You can access your purse by clicking on the purse Icon in the bottom of your screen once you have checked in.

How can I buy Habbo Credits?

How long does it take to get Credits?

This varies depending on the payment method used. Online purchases will usually be processed in the same day. Money Orders may take from 2-3 weeks.

Purchasing via home phone

Can I purchase credits with my home phone?


The ability to purchase Habbo Credits via home phone is now available in most Canadian area codes.

You must have 900#s allowed on your line, and it cannot be a VoIP connection.

And as always, be sure you have the permission of the person who pays the phone bill before ordering.

What is a VoIP?

A VoIP is a telephone method that goes over your DSL or Cable line. If your telephone service is paid to a DSL or Cable provider it is most likely a VoIP and therefor not compatible with this billing method.


How much does it cost?

Each call will cost $3.00 and you will receive 15 credits.

Can I use a calling card or a pay phone?

No, it will only work with a standard home phone with 900#s enabled, and you must have the permission of the person who pays the phone bill.

Is there a limit to how many times I can call?

There is a limit of 15 times per week.

What happens if I call and hang up, will I be charged?

If you call and hang up before accepting the prompt that asks if you have permission you will not be charged, and you will not receive credits, but please note that will count as 1 call with regard to the limit of calls you can make each month. If you don't have permission, or don't want to buy credits at this time then don't call.

If you accept the prompt that you have permission to be calling please DO NOT hang up until after you enter your credit code and hear the, 'kerching' sound. If you hang up before entering your credit code you will be charged, but you will not receive your credits.

Is there any way to get free credits through the phone?

No! Lots dishonest people may try to convince you that if you call and enter a secret code you will receive free credits, but what will actually happen is you'll end up buying credits for someone else.

What are the spending limits for Home Phone purchasing?

The current limits for home phone purchasing is 15 calls per week.

Remember, as with all purchasing methods, home phone purchasing should ONLY be done with parental permission.

I'm a parent, how can I prevent unauthorized telephone charges?

Currently, the easiest way to ensure that unauthorized charges are not made via your home phone is to contact your telephone provider and request that 1-900 dialing be disabled. If this is not an option, please use our CONTACT US form to inquire about possible secondary solutions.
